Rise Against Hunger - Food Packing Event
All Church
Rise Against Hunger's mission is to end hunger in our lifetime by providing food and life-changing aid to the world’s most vulnerable.
One of their major programs is volunteer meal-packing. Madison Methodist Church is holding a Rise Against Hunger meal-packing program on Sunday, February 9.
HOW IT WORKS
Volunteers will participate in assembly-line packaging of highly nutritious dehydrated meals comprised of rice, soy, vegetables, and 23 essential vitamins and minerals.
OUR GOAL
Our goal is to pack 20,000 meals. According to the RAH website, a group of 40 to 50 volunteers can package a little over 10,000 meals in about two hours.
