Share Your Creativity at the Madison Methodist Church Craft Sale!

Our annual Madison Methodist Church Craft Sale is coming up November 1, 3 & 4, and we would love your help making it a success!

Have something creative to share? We are looking for handmade and homemade items such as jewelry, wood crafts, sewn items, decorative pieces, pottery, baked goods and frozen foods.

Please bring your price-marked items to the Atrium on Halloween between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. or before early church on November 1.

Volunteers Needed

We also need volunteers to help with setup, sales and cleanup. There are several opportunities to serve:

October 31 | Pottery Pickup

3 volunteers with SUV-type vehicles are needed to pick up pottery at approximately 8:00 a.m. and transport it to the church.

Craft Sale Setup

6 volunteers plus Doug Owens are needed to help set up tables in the Atrium and Fellowship Hall.

• Set up tables as directed by Doug Owens.
• Arrange donated items on the tables.
• Price items that do not already have a price label.
• Receive items delivered before 11:00 a.m.
• Table coverings will be provided.

Sunday Morning | 8:00 a.m.–12:15 p.m.

9 volunteers are needed to help during the busiest part of the sale.

• Two people in the Fellowship Hall and two in the Atrium to receive payments.
• Six people to assist customers and wrap purchases.
• At least one person at each location will need to remain with the money box during Sunday School and services.
• Other volunteers can attend church and arrive a little late or leave a few minutes early.
• Additional help may be needed during especially busy periods.
• Jackie Wilson will assist with Venmo and credit card payments.
• The busiest times are expected to be between early church and Sunday School, and again between Sunday School and late church.
• Volunteers will also help pack unsold items and move them to the CLC, or follow Doug Owens' instructions.

Tuesday VIP | 10:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.

3–4 volunteers are needed to help with the Tuesday VIP event. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to enjoy lunch and the program.

Wednesday WAM | 4:30–7:00 p.m.

3–4 volunteers are needed to help with the Wednesday WAM event. The final 45 minutes will be used to pack unsold items and load them into vehicles or move them to the New Spirit Classroom in Fellowship Hall Room 127.

Thank you to everyone who has helped make the Craft Sale a success in the past! Over the last two years, volunteers from Faithbuilders, New Spirit and Daily Disciples have helped cover these needs. We would also love to have volunteers from our other adult classes join us this year.
