1. Our KIDS Ministry Blessing of the Backpacks event is this Wednesday, August 5, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This is a family event for children, ages 3 years old - 6th grade, and their parents. Dinner will be served from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. in the Christian Life Center (CLC). A nursery will be available for younger siblings.
2. Our Life After Loss Support Group will meet this Wednesday, August 5, at 6:00 p.m. in Room 122. Rev. Barry Male will be the guest speaker.
3. Our New Room services will meet in the Multi-Purpose Room (Education Building, second floor) for the month of August so we can make sure that we have enough space for everyone.
4. Our four-week NEXT STEPS: New Member Class begins this Sunday, August 9. It meets during the Sunday School hour in the Christian Life Center. All new and prospective members are invited to attend!
5. Missions News
a. Habitat ReBuild: Our church is scheduled for the Habitat for Humanity Rebuild on Saturday, August 22. There will be two shifts from 7:45 a.m.-noon and from 12:45-4:00 p.m. Email our Habitat for Humanity chairperson at [

b. The Connection: We still need a few volunteers (1 van driver once per month and 2 weekly program volunteers) for this ministry which restarts on September 14.
c. We need people to host during our Pickleball sessions on Monday nights (noon-1:30 p.m., 5:50-7:30 p.m.), Tuesdays (12:15-2:30 p.m.), and Fridays (12:15-2:30 p.m.). Contact Susan Hierlmeier at (813)299-6558 with questions or to volunteer.
